CALIFORNIA: Dark mode is the hottest new trend in apps as it is slightly easy on the eyes and conserves battery life too. Now, productivity app Slack is the latest to join the bandwagon by offering a dark mode feature to its app users.
The dark mode for Slack is currently being rolled out to beta testers on both iOS and Android devices, The Verge reported.
If you want to switch to a dark mode, you need to be a part of Slack’s beta testing program. You can join the beta testing from the app settings panel and choosing ‘Join Beta’ to gain access to the dark mode.
Once you join the program, you will be able to toggle to the dark mode from the settings panel. You may be prompted to restart the app depending on the OS you are using.
